Dinu Bumbaru

A graduate in architecture from Université de Montréal, Dinu Bumbaru also holds a degree in architectural conservation from University of York. He has worked for many years in heritage preservation with ICOMOS Canada (the International Council on Monuments and Sites). Dinu Bumbaru has been actively involved in the protection of Montréal's architectural and cultural heritage as the Policy Director of Héritage Montréal, one of the city's most active non-profit organizations in planning and architecture. In 2009, he was awarded the Order of Canada for his contribution to the field. In 2012, he earned the Prix Gerard-Morisset in recognition of his numerous career accomplishments.
